2009年12月15日上午9點30分，由中央民族大學(xué)、中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會聯(lián)合主辦的50周年師生作品展將在中國美術(shù)館拉開帷幕.

　　伴隨共和國60年華誕的來臨，中央民族大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院也迎來了成立50年的盛典。中央民族大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院的成長同時也代表著新中國少數(shù)民族高等美術(shù)教育的發(fā)展歷程，在團結(jié)奮進、蓬勃開拓的50年中，經(jīng)過幾代民族美術(shù)教育家的不懈努力，他們收獲了中國少數(shù)民族美術(shù)教育和民族美術(shù)創(chuàng)作與科研成果的雙豐收。

　　這次展覽所選取的作品是該院最近幾年師生共同完成的一批具有代表性的力作，其中全面展現(xiàn)了繪畫、設(shè)計、美術(shù)學(xué)各專業(yè)在教學(xué)、科研工作中所取得的創(chuàng)作成果，體現(xiàn)出該院藝術(shù)實踐教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)中師資力量建設(shè)和人才培養(yǎng)的整體水平，同時也是我國少數(shù)民族高等美術(shù)教育發(fā)展水平的一個重要標(biāo)志。從這批作品中鮮明地體現(xiàn)出該院的辦學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)導(dǎo)向：立足民族傳統(tǒng)、面向現(xiàn)實生活、努力探索藝術(shù)語言的時代性以尋求超越，這也是數(shù)代民大美術(shù)人的拼搏方向，將我國少數(shù)民族美術(shù)教育及美術(shù)創(chuàng)作事業(yè)共同推向了一個全新的發(fā)展階段。

　　With the advent of China’s 60th birthday, the Department of Fine Arts at Minzu University of China has also ushered a celebration after 50 years of existence. The growth of Minzu University of China’s Department of Fine Arts coincides with the development of higher art education related to China's minority nationalities arts education. During the pass 50 years of development, minority nationality art educators from several generations, with united efforts worked tirelessly in concert.  Not only did these scholars bring the fruition of various Chinese minority nationality art’s education, they also made major contributions to related art creation and related scientific research.

　　The pieces on display in this exhibition are of the most powerful breed, representative of teachers and students efforts in recent years.  Through display of works in drawing, design, and all other fine arts fields we can see the great achievements of each corresponding area and progress in research and teaching technique.  These works undoubtedly demonstrate the faculties’ outstanding ability to cultivate pupils through practical coursework. Moreover, it is a symbol to mark the substantial development of our nation’s minorities’ higher level art education. As is clearly reflected in the pieces themselves the departments teaching techniques focus on ethnic traditions, facing the realities of life, efforts to explore the artistic language of the times in order to seek to go beyond; all of which also represent the exact process of struggle and identity building of artist from several generations at the university. And lastly and importantly, it can be said that just in this way, both the education of and creative industry pertaining to minority nationality art will further evolve through such co-development.
